Pricing and Payment Schedule
This Schedule forms part of the Terms and Conditions.
1. Price
The price is per fund, per year. It covers every trustee of that fund, and view-only access for the fund's accountant. It is not charged per person, and the accountant does not pay. Prices are in Australian dollars and are the total amount payable. SMSF Cockpit is not currently registered for GST. If GST becomes applicable, prices will include GST.
2. Founding rate
The first 50 funds to join pay a founding rate of $49 a year for every billing period up to and including 30 June 2028, whenever in that period they joined. From 1 July 2028 the rate for those funds becomes the standard rate of $99 a year, or the standard rate that applies then if it has changed under section 7.
Whether a fund is one of the first 50 is decided by the creator when the fund is set up, and the creator will tell you in writing. The creator may offer more founding places, but will not reduce the number already given.
3. Invoices and how to pay
The creator invoices each fund's owner by email. Founding funds are invoiced by hand, and payment is by bank transfer to the account on the invoice. Each invoice shows the fund, the amount, the period it covers, and the due date. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date.
When online payment is introduced, the creator will tell you before starting to use it. The creator does not hold or store card details itself.
4. If an invoice is not paid
- If an invoice is not paid by its due date, the creator will email the fund's owner a reminder.
- If it is still not paid 14 days after the due date, the fund becomes read-only. You can still sign in, view everything and download everything, including the complete export pack. You cannot add or change records.
- The fund stays read-only for 6 months. During that time paying the overdue invoice restores full access.
- If the invoice is still not paid at the end of the 6 months, the fund and its backups are permanently deleted. The creator will email the owner at least 30 days and again 7 days before this happens.
For founding funds, the first invoice at the standard rate is due before 1 July 2028. The creator will email you 90, 60 and 30 days before the founding rate ends.
5. Cancelling
You can stop using the app, and delete your fund or your account, at any time in the app. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current paid billing period, and no further fees will be charged.
6. Refunds
Except as required by the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation, or as set out in section 9 of the Terms (if the creator ends the agreement for convenience), fees paid are non-refundable.
7. Changes to the price
The creator may change the standard price. The creator will give you at least 60 days' written notice before the start of the billing period the new price applies to. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for. The founding rate is not changed before 30 June 2028.
8. Records of payment
The creator keeps a record of what each fund has paid. This is separate from your fund data.
